Soya Granules Pulao, Mint Raita And Chutney

  • 1 cup basmati rice washed and soaked for 10 minutes

  • 1/2 cup soya granules soaked

  • 2 bay leaf

  • 1/2 tsp jeera

  • 1/2 tsp red chilli pwd

  • 6-8 green chilly

  • 1tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black salt

  • 1/2 jeera powder

  • 1 tbsp mint leaves paste

  • 1/2 cup coriander chopped

  • 8-10 mint leaves

  • 1/2 inch ginger

  • 1 lemon juice

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • 1 tbsp ghee


  • For pulao.. Heat ghee in a cooker and add jeera as it sputter add bay leaf, red chilli pwd and soya granules stir it for a minute
  • Add 2 green chilly slited, garam masala and rice
  • Add 2 cup water and salt to taste and let it simmer till half cook
  • After that put lid and cook for one whistle
  • For mint raita.. Whisk curd and add mint paste, black salt and jerra powder and mix it nicely
  • For chutney.. Grind mint leaves, salt, ginger, green chilly, coriander leaves to a fine paste and add lemon juice and salt to taste chutney is ready
  • Enjoy the meal.. Soya pulao with mint raita and Chutney
