Soak urad dal for 4-5 hours.
Drain and add soaked urad dal to mixer jar.
Grind into fine paste,add little water if required.
Next add chopped onion,chopped green chili,chopped ginger,chopped coriander leaves,chopped curry leaves,cumin seeds,crushed bell pepper,hing and baking soda to the urad dal batter.
Mix it very well.
Now heat the oil in the kadai for frying.
After that wet your hands,take vada mix,flatten it and make a hole in the centre.
Now drop it in the hot oil.
Like this make all vadas of the batter and keep the flame on medium.
Now deep fry then from both sides of the vada.
When starts getting brown and crisp from both the sides,remove them on the kitchen roll.
Serve it with Coconut Chutney or Sambhar.
