Ingredients

  • Chicken 750 g

  • Salt 3 tsp

  • Ghee 3 tsp

  • Oil 2 tsp deep fry

  • Coriander leaves 1 handful

  • Mint leaves 1 handful

  • Garam masala 2 tsp

  • Chilli powder 2 tsp

  • Ginger garlic paste 3 tsp

  • Cinnamon 1

  • Bay leaf 1

  • Cardamom 2

  • Cloves 2

  • Onion 6

  • Tomata 2

  • Basmati rice 2 cup

  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp

  • Fennel seeds 2 tsp

  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp

  • Curry leaves 1 handful

  • Green chili 2

Directions

    Chicken dum biriyani

    Boil water and add washed rice and cook for 10 min or half done

    Heat ghee in a pan add 1 tsp fennel seeds, 1/2tsp cumin seeds, cinnamon , cardamom, cloves, chopped onion 3, tonato 1 and saute it

    Add salt 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp chilli powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala ginger garlic paste

    Add salt, cleaned chicken and saute it

    Add little water and cover with lid cook for 10 mins

    Then add coriander leaves, mint leaves

    Take one portion of it and keep it aside

    Add half cooked rice on top of it

    Add remaining gravy...and second layer of rice

    Cover the lid

    Place the cooker on tawa and cook for 15 min on medium flame

    For Chilli chicken

    Heat sesame oil in a pan add fennel seeds, curry leaves, chilli

    Add chopped onion 2 and saute it

    Add ginget garlic paste, Chilli powder

    Add cleaned chiken and cook for 10 min

    Add little water and cook for 10 more min

    Add coriander leaves

    In a bowl add 1 tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp corn flour, salt

    Add little water to make thick paste

    Add cleaned chicken and marinate it for 1 hour

    Fry it in a hot oil
