Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Boiled baby potatoes - 15

  • Chopped onion/ pyaz - 1/2 cup

  • Chopped tomato/ tamatar - 1/2 cup

  • Chopped garlic/ lehsun - 1 tablespoon

  • Cooking oil - 1 tablespoon

  • Cumin seeds/ jeera - 1/2 teaspoon

  • Turmeric/ haldi powder- 1/2 teaspoon

  • Dry coriander powder/ dhaniya powder - 1 1/2 teaspoon

  • Red chili powder/ lal mirch powder - 1/2 teaspoon

  • Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon

  • Chopped coriander leaves/ dhaniya patti - 1 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste or 1/2 teaspoon

  • Water - 1/2 cup

Directions

    Heat oil in a pan on medium flame. Add cumin seeds. Once it crackles, add garlic and saute for 2-3 minutes.

    Add onions and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add tomatoes and mix well. Add turmeric, dry coriander powder, red chili powder. Cook for 3-4 minutes.

    Add water, potatoes, salt and cook for another 5 minutes.

    Add dry mango powder and garam masala. Cook for a minute and sprinkle coriander leaves on it.

    Lehsuni Baby Potatoes' is ready to be served with hot phulkas/ chapati.
