  • Dosa rice 2 cup

  • 1/4 cup fenugreek

  • Salt 1 tsp

  • Water 3 cup

  • Cooking oil 1/4 cup


  • Wash and soak dosa rice and methi seeds for minimum 4 hours.
  • Drain the water and grind smoothly in mixer by adding sufficient water and salt to taste.
  • Batter will become fluffy and smooth.
  • Transfer the batter into a container and allow it to ferment over night.
  • In the morning batter would have raised, mix well by using a laddle.
  • Add water if required.
  • Heat a tawa, grease with oil.
  • Pour a laddle full of batter, let it thick for soft.
  • Cover and cook on medium flame for 3 minutes.
  • Drizzle some oil, flip and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Remove and serve super soft and healthy fenugreek or methi dosa with chutney or payasam.
