Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 1/2 kgs small size brinjal


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1/2 tsp haldi powder


  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder


  • 1 tsp fennel powder(saunf)


  • 1 tsp dhania powder


  • 1/2 tsp garam masala


  • 1 tsp amchur powder


  • 1 tsp jeera


  • 2 tsp mustard oil


  • 1/2 tsp hing

Directions

  • Wash all the brinjals.
  • Slit all the brinjals from the middle.
  • Now take a mixing bowl and add all the dry ingredient spices into bowl .
  • Mix it.
  • Now Stuff 1/2 tspn of masala in between the slit of the brinjal.
  • Like this,stuff all the brinjals.
  • After stuffing,take a kadai and heat it.
  • Add oil in it.
  • When oil heated,add hing and jeera in it.
  • Now after that place all the stuffed brinjals into the kadai.
  • Cover it with the lid for 7-8 mins.
  • After that flip all the brinjals and again cover it with the lid.
  • Again after 7-8 mins check whether brinjals are done or not.
  • If not then again cover it by adding 1 tbsp of water it its getting burnt from the bottom.
  • Otherwise not needed.
  • Now remove the lid .
  • Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves ,if you want.
  • Serve it with chapathi.
