Mexican potato pasta rolls


In my own style.. So 1st of all ll mke pasta n keep aside... So here goes recipe for pasta

Serves : 4
  • 100 gms pasta

  • 2 nos onion cut lenghtwise

  • 1 nos green capsicum cut lenghtwise

  • 1 nos small size red n yellow pepper cut lenghtwise.

  • 1 tsp red chilli powder

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • 1 tsp amchur powder

  • 1 tsp packet of pasta masala (10gms)

  • 2-3 tbsp oil

  • 2 cups for the dough : maida

  • 1/2 cups wheat flour

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • 1 pinch salt as per taste

  • 2 nos boiled n mashed potatoes

  • 3/4 cups cabbage cut vry thin in lenghtwise

  • 1 nos carrot.


  • Boil pasta drain n rinse in cold water ..n keep aside
  • Now heat oil in a pan n saute onion till transparent add all the 3 peppers n cook on medium flame. keep stirring.
  • When u see the green pepper has changed its colour. Put pasta n masta masala n mix well on low flame.. cook for 5 mins n off the flame.. n let it cool..
  • Now ll make the dough
  • For the dough :Mix all the above dough ings n knead the dough bt using water. Beat the dough nicely till it is smooth n soft. Keep covered for 40_45 mins..
  • To make the mixture for rolls : Mix all the above ings. With pasta. Wash your hands nicely n mix the mixture with ur hands so that pasta n potato; gets mixed n stick to each other nicely..
  • Finally nw ll prepare the rolls.. So ftom the dough make small balls start rolling thin like chappaties.. N rooat on a skillet both the sides..jst like chappati..
  • Now the chapati put the pasta mixture in the centre n roll it..h eat on a skillet for 3_4 mins.
  • Cover it with a butter paper n cut giving a slant cut.. Remove the butter paper .
  • Assemble all the cut rolls in a serving plate put sum cabbage in cerntre of the plate n sum pieces of cucumber n serve.with sauce.
