Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 2 cups all purpose flour


  • 5 tbsp bournvita


  • 1 tbsp sugar


  • 1/4 tsp baking soda


  • 1/4 tsp baking powder


  • 3 tbsp oil


  • 4 tbsp milk


  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Directions

  • Take a large bowl and mix all dry ingredients in it.add the liquid ingredients and mix well to form smooth paste. If the paste seems too thick, add a spoon of milk. Ensure that the mixture fills only half the greased cake mold.
  • Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°c for 15 to 20 minutes.Cool it, loosen the edges using a knife and demould it by inverting the tin over a rack and tap gently to unmould. Cut into and serve immediately or store in an air-tight container. Use as required
