  • all purpose flour 2 cups

  • bournvita 5 tbsp

  • sugar 1 tbsp

  • baking soda 1/4 tsp

  • baking powder 1/4 tsp

  • oil 3 tbsp

  • milk 4 tbsp

  • lemon juice 1 tsp

    Take a large bowl and mix all dry ingredients in it.add the liquid ingredients and mix well to form smooth paste. If the paste seems too thick, add a spoon of milk. Ensure that the mixture fills only half the greased cake mold.

    Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°c for 15 to 20 minutes.Cool it, loosen the edges using a knife and demould it by inverting the tin over a rack and tap gently to unmould. Cut into and serve immediately or store in an air-tight container. Use as required
