Sweetpatato Peeled and fine chopped or Greated 1 cups
Milk 1/2 litre
Sugar or jaggery or milkmad 3 tbsp
ghee 2 tsp
Chopped cashews, pista and almonds for garnishing 1 tsp
cardamom powder (elaichi) 1/4 tsp
Saffron strands 2-3 nos
Wash, peel and grate sweet potatoes. Heat ghee in a pan, Roast the cashews and almonds in ghee. Fry till little brown and remove them in bowl and set aside.
To same ghee add grated sweet potato and saute for 2-3 minutes. Then add milk and let it boil on low flame for about 10 minutes until the milk thickens. Stirring constantly.
Add sugar and cook for 3-4 minutes on low flame. Add cardamom powder and mix well.
Garnish with roasted nuts. Serve hot or cold.
