  • 250 gms spinach/ palak

  • 150 gms paneer

  • 1 cups tomato puree

  • 1/2 tsp salt/ namak to taste

  • 1 tsp ginger garlic and green chilli paste

  • 1/4 tsp garam masala

  • 1/2 tsp ciba kitchen king masala

  • 2 tbsp oil/ tel

  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds/ jeera

  • 2 tbsp fresh cream


  • Wash spinach and grind it. Cut paneer in cubes
  • Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds. After it crackles, add ginger, garlic and green chilli paste and saute for 2 minutes on medium flame.
  • Add tomato puree and saute until oil gets separated from the spices.
  • Add ground spinach, remaining spices, salt and water. Cook for 7-8 minutes on medium flame.
  • Add paneer and cook for 2 minutes and then switch off the flame. Garnish with cream.
  • Delicious and healthy 'Palak Paneer' is ready to be served with roti/ rice.
