  • Green Gram/ Green Moong/ Whole Moong 1/2 cups

  • Besan/ Gram flour or as needed 1/2 cups

  • Chilli Powder 1 tsp

  • Amchur/ Dry Mango Powder 1 tsp

  • Salt or to taste 1/2 tsp

    Soak the green gram overnight or for 8 hours in enough water.

  • 02

    Drain the water and pressure cook the green gram in enough water for about 10 whistles. You can have it mushy too so that it binds well.

    Drain any water that might be present in the pressured cooked dal and add the other ingredients and mix well.

    Heat oil in a tava or pan. Shallow fry these tikkis till they turn golden brown and crispy.

    Serve hot with tomato sauce or any chutney of your choice.
