Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 2 cups peas soaked overnight


  • 1 nos onion chopped


  • 1 nos tomato puree


  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1 tsp coriander powder


  • 1 tsp cumin powder


  • 1 tsp salt to taste


  • 1 tsp red chilly powder


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp fresh coriander


  • 1 tsp mustard seeds

Directions

  • Pressure cook peas in cooker for 3 whistles along with 1 tsp of salt.
  • Reserve the stock for later use.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute.
  • Add onion, salt and all the spices.saute till oil separates.
  • Add tomato puree and mix it well. Add the peas into the pan and cover for a minute.
  • Pour the reserved stock and bring it to boil.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
