Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Ing for taco Shell :maize flour (makai ka atta) 3/4 cups

  • plain flour (maida) 5 tbsp

  • oil 1/2 tbsp

  • ajjwain 1 tsp

  • salt to taste 2 tsp

  • plain flour (maida) for rolling 1/2 cups

  • oil for deep-frying 1 cups

  • ing for filling : carrot grated 1 nos

  • cottage cheese 1 cups

  • green capsicum cut lenghtwis 2 nos

  • yellow pepper cut lenghtwise 1 nos

  • onion make a paste 2 nos

  • tomatoes make a puree 3 nos

  • ginger &green chilli paste 1 tbsp

  • red chilli powder 2 tsp

  • turmeric powder 1 tsp

  • garam masala 1 tsp

  • kasuri methi 1 tbsp

  • milk 1/2 cups

  • curd 1/2 cups

  • cube cheese 1 nos

  • butter 1 tbsp

  • oil 2 tbsp

  • red & green chilli sauce. 1 tbsp

  • onion rings for garnishing. 7-8 nos

Directions

    Taco shell : Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl, mix well and knead into a semi-soft dough using enough water.

    Divide the dough into 10_12 equal portion.

    Now take 1 pirtion a d roll it to a puri size .

    Heat the oil in a deep kadhai and deep-fry, a few puris at a time on a medium flame till they turn crisp and golden brown in colour from all the sides.

    Take it out on a kitchen towel.and give a shape with the help of a rolling pin.

    For filling : Take a kadhai and melt butter add oil when oil is heated add red chilli powder haldi dhania garam ma sala and saute for few minute.

    Now add the onion paste and garlic chilli paste.

    Cook continue on a low flame till the raw flavor disappears. Now add tomato puree, cabbage, carrot, capisicum and Mix in salt to taste and cover the pan. Leave to cook for about 2 minutes and then mash the paneer with your hands and mix in gravy with vegetables. Paneer brings a thick consistency in it.

    Finally add 1/2 cup of milk and Keep the flame very low after adding milk and give a nice stir.

    Finally add 1/2 tbsp kasuri methi, curd red & green chilli sauce and few coriander leaves.

    To assemble tacos : Take 4_5 taco shell put the filling line then in a serving plate put some grated cheese on all .

    Then put the salsa and garnish with onion rings and serve immediately.
