Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • For rava dosa... 1 cup rava


  • 1/2 cup curd


  • 2 tbsp whole wheat flour


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 2 tbsp coconut


  • 1 tbsp channa dal


  • 1/2 tsp urad dal


  • 2 whole red chilly


  • 2 tbsp Sambhar masala


  • 1 cup Arhar dal


  • 1/4 tsp haldi pwd


  • 1/2 tsp red chilli pwd


  • 1 tsp mustard seeds


  • 5-6 green chilly


  • 1 tbsp Chopped coriander


  • 4 potato boiled and mashed


  • 1 tsp coriander powder


  • 1/2 garam masala


  • 1 cup chopped veggies... Carrot, beans, ladyfingers, kaddu, lauki and brinjal


  • 2 tomato grinded


  • 10-15 curry leaves


  • 1/4 cup tamarind pulp

Directions

  • Grind rava to a fine pwd and add whole wheat flour and pinch of salt and mix
  • Add curd and make a batter by adding water
  • Keep it covered for 10 minutes
  • Meanwhile cook Arhar dal along with haldi pwd and salt for 4-5 min
  • Heat oil in a wok and add mustard seeds as it sputter add chopped veggies and stir add haldi powder, chilly pwd and salt
  • Cook for 4-5 min
  • Add tomato paste and cook
  • Open the lid and whisk dal
  • Add cooked veggies and pressure cook for one whistle
  • Roast channa dal along with oil
  • Grind coconut, roasted channa dal, green chilly and salt to a fine paste
  • Adjust consistency by adding water
  • For tadka heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, red chilli and curry patta and let it sputter add this tadka to chutney and mix it nicely
  • Tadka for Sambhar.. Heat oil and add urad dal and channa dal and mustard seeds as it turns brown add red chilly and curry leaf and transfer this to cooked dal
  • Add Sambhar masala and tamarind pulp and let it simmer for 10 minutes
  • For dosa filling heat oil in a wok and add jeera as it sputter add haldi powder, coriander pwd and red chilly and mix add mashed potato and salt and cook it
  • Heat griddle and grease it put one spoonful batter on it and spread it evenly
  • Put potato on one side and fold it
  • Serve it with hot piping Sambhar and coconut chutney
