Wash and soak chana dal for 15 minutes.
Heat oil in a pressure cooker.
Add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
Add half onions in it and saute until transparent.
Add ginger garlic paste and soute for a while.
Add tomato puree and soute until oil separates.
Add chana dal ,salt and dry spices in it. Mix well.
Add three cups water in it. mix well. close the lid.
Cook it for four whistles. Switch off the flame and let the pressure released.
Take grated cheese. Add salt and pepper, finally chopped onion and green chilly in it. Mix well.
Wash spinach leaves and place cheese stuffing on it.
Fold it carefully and seal it with toothpicks.
Boil water in a pan.
Place these spinach rolls on a strainer and put it on the pan.
Steam it for two minutes.
Now heat two tablespoons oil in a pan.
Shallow fry these dumplings in it until they become crispy.
Put chana dal in a serving bowl.
Place these spinach rolls on it.
Serve hot with naan or chapati.
