Sieve flour, baking powder and salt . Keep it aside
Blend 1/2 cup sugar and butter until creamy
Add eggs, 1 at a time and blend until pale and frothy
Add vanilla extract and blend well
Alternately add flour and milk to egg mixture and blend until well combined
Seperate 1 cup batter and keep it aside
Mix Cocoa powder, sugar and 2 tbsp milk well
Add to 1 cup batter and mix well
Pour spoonful of vanilla and chocolate batter alternately in prepared cake tin one over another until both batters are completed
Using toothpick create swirls
Bake in preheated oven at 180 deg for 20-30 minutes until done
Allow cake to cool for 30 minutes. Demould, cut and serve
