Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Basmati Rice - 1 cup


  • Onion-1chopped


  • Tomato-2chopped


  • Capsicum-1chopped


  • Carrot-1chopped


  • Green peas-1pcup


  • Green chilli-1chopped


  • Pav Bhaji Masala - 2 tblpsn


  • Chilli Garlic Paste - 3 tblspn


  • Salt -2to taste


  • Sugar - 1/2 tsp


  • Butter-4tblspn


  • Coriander leaves- for garnish 1-2 lhandful

Directions

  • Wash basmati rice, soak it for 30 mins. Bring lots of water to boil, add salt to it. Add in rice and cook for 7 to 8 mins till it is done. Drain and set aside. Leave it to cool completely.
  • In a kadai add butter add in chilli garlic paste and cook till oil separates.
  • Add in the Onions,Green chilli, tomatoes and cook till it turns mushy. Add in salt and little sugar and mix well.
  • Add in the pav bhajji masala and mix well. Add in peas and capsicum,carrot saute it for 10min.
  • Add in the cooked rice and mix well until the masala coats each rice.
  • Serve hot with any raita and any gravy
