1 tblspn refined oil 3/4 tsp ginger garlic paste 1 cup basmati rice socked 30 min. 2 cup water 1 maggi masala-e-magic 20 black pepper 1 bay leaf /tez patta salt to taste 5 clove 2 Cardamom 1 inch cinamom 1 star anise 1 tsp jeera 1 onion finaly chopped 2 green chilli slit length wise 1 carrot chopped 5 beans chopped 1/4 cup peas 1/4 cup coliflower florets (optional) 1/4 cup capsicum chopped
Firstly, take a cooker and add all dry spices. Now add finely chopped onions. also add a tsp of ginger-garlic paste. saute till raw aroma is gone. then add slit green chillis.
additionally, add all vegetables of your choice.saute them for couple of minutes.
Then add basmati rice soaked in water for 30 minutes. saute them gently for a minute without breaking rice grains.
Add 2 cups water, maggi masala nd salt as required and give a final mix. Pressure cook for 2 whistles on medium flame. Allow the pressure to release by itself. finally, serve veg pulao with onion-tomato raita.
