Cooked rice 1bowl
For White layer----
Oil 2tsp
Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
Small paneer cubes 1/2 cup
Salt to taste.
Orange layer----
Oil 2tsp
Cumin 1/2tsp
Tomato puree 3/4 cup
Salt to taste
Kashmiri mirch powder 1tsp
Green layer---
Oil 2tsp
Spinach puree 1 cup
Ginger-garlic paste 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Garam masala 1/2tsp
Lemon juice 2tsp
Directions
To prepare the white layer rice ....
Heat oil in a woke.....add the cumin seeds.....once it starts crackling....add the onion in to it n saute for a while......add the paneer pieces n stir for a while....make sure it does not change its colour.....once it is fried enough....immediately add the cooked rice to it along wid the salt n toss slightly....the white layer of rice is ready.
To prepare orange layer rice
In the same wok....add oil n cumin seeds....once it starts spluttering....add the ginger-garlic paste to it....n saute for a while.....add the tomato puree...salt...red chilli....n let it cook for around 2-3 min......add the cooked rice n toss well untill u get nice orange colour rice....take a bowl n brush some oil over it n transfer the orange layer of rice into it.....using a spatula......flatten the rice n make n even layer.
To prepare the green layer rice
In the same wok heat oil add ginger-garlic paste saute for a while.....add the spinach puree n cook for a while.....add salt garam masala....n lemon juice n mix well.....lastly....add the last layer of rice to it n toss well to get a nice green coloured layer.....also add some fresh coriender....leaves n mix well..
To assemble-----
In bowl which contains the orange layer of rice ....add the white layer of rice......n flatten it to form an even layer......then add the green layer rice n even it out using a spatula ........then turn the bowl upside down on a plate the delicious Tiranga Pulav is ready to be served.❤🍚
