Preheat oven to 180 and prepare loaf pan
Sieve flours, baking powder and salt. Keep it aside
Melt butter over low heat, add milk sugar and cocoa powder to it. Bring to boil. Switch off
In a bowl add semi sweet chocolate, add above cocoa syrup to it reserving 1/2 cup seperately.
Stir chocolate until completely melted. this is chocolate glaze
Whip egg whites in a bowl until foamy and stiff peaks form . keep it aside
In a bowl, add egg yolks and reserved cocoa syrup. Mix well. Slowly incorporate dry ingredients and blend well
Add whipped egg whites to batter slowly and fold in until well combined
Pour batter into prepared loaf pan
Bake for 25-35 minutes until done. Allow to cool for 15 minutes
Demould and pour prepared chocolate glaze on top of the cake
Garnish with nuts. Cake should be sliced at room temperature. Serve
