Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 3 eggs


  • 1 2/3 cup flour


  • 2 teaspoon baking powder


  • 2/3 cup sugar


  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder


  • 120g semi sweet or dark chocolate chopped


  • 200 ml cream


  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 180 and line muffin tin
  • Sieve flour, baking powder and salt. Keep it aside
  • Beat cream to form peaks. Keep it aside
  • In another bowl, blend sugar and eggs until pale and frothy. Add vanilla extract and blend well
  • Add whipped cream and cocoa powder and blend
  • Slowly add dry ingredients and mix until well combined
  • Reserve 3 tbsp chopped chocolate and add remaining to batter. Fold in gently
  • Pour batter into prepared muffin tin upto 2/3 level
  • Add reserved chopped chocolate on top of batter in muffin tin
  • Bake for 18-25 minutes until done. Allow to cool for 15 minutes. Best served warm with glass of milk
