boil the milk and soak dates in it for at least 30 minutes
In a bowl sift together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and mix nicely
Add the milk and dates mixture and mix gently with spatula
now add oil, vanilla essence and chocolate chips and gently mix. Don't over beat the cake
preheat the oven and grease the loft tin with butter
pour the batter into the prepared loaf tin and Sprinkle roasted oats and Pumpkin seeds on top and bake it at 180 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean
take out from the oven and allow the cake to cool completely before taking it out from the oven otherwise it will break, if you cut it.
