Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cup oats


  • 1/2 cup water


  • 1 onion, finely chopped


  • 1 green chili chopped


  • 1/4 cup coriander chopped


  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


  • 1 teaspoon cumin


  • 1 Pinch of asafoetida


  • 1 tablespoon oil (olive)

Directions

  • In a blender add oats and grind it into fine powder. Like flour.
  • In a pan boil water, add all the ingredients except oil. Also add flour. Remove it from the flame.
  • Quickly mix everything together and cover it with lid and allow it to rest for about 5-6 minutes.
  • After that knead the dough apply little oil to it.
  • Make small balls roll it like paratha or thalipeeth
  • Heat a pan and grill these oats paratha from both the sides.
  • To keep it healthier, do not add oil. It will taste good even without oil.
  • If you feel the paratha is little dry in texture then apply few drops of olive oil.
  • Healthy and tasty Parathas are ready to serve. These are perfect for lunch or dinner.
  • You can make these and keep it for 4-5 days.
  • Serve it with chutney, ketchup, pickle or curd.
