Ingredients

Serves 8

  • 500 grams boiled potatoes

  • 2 green chilly

  • 4 big tomatoes

  • 2 tbs coriander leaves chopped

  • 1 tsp salt or as per taste

  • 1/2 tsp red chilly powder

  • 1/3 tsp cumin seeds

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala

  • 2 tbs oil for curry

  • 500 grams wheat flour

  • 1/2 tsp ajwain

  • 2 tbs oil for kneading flour

  • 250 ml oil for frying puri

Directions

    peel potatoes and cut

    cut tomatoes and green chilly finely

  • 03

    put a wok on fire put oil for curry let it get hot then add cumin seeds

  • 04

    cumin seeds will brown then add green chilly and tomatoes cook on low heat

  • 05

    add salt to taste, red chilly powder, turmeric powder mix and cook until oil comes out

    now add potatoes and give a good mix add sufficient water as much gravy you want according to that

    boil it nicely put Garam masala and coriander leaves off heat

    now take a mixing bowl put wheat flour add 1/2 tsp salt , ajwain , 2 tbs oil mix very well

    put water and knead a hard dough keep aside for 15 minuets

    now make small small balls and roll with rolling pin

  • 11

    put oil in a wok for frying on full heat oil should be very hot for frying puri

  • 12

    now put 1 puri and fry from both side in golden color

  • 13

    enjoy with potatoes gravy
