Soak red kidney beans for 4 hours
Now add a little salt and 3 cups of water to Red Kidney Beans and pressure cook it for 4-5 whistles
Meanwhile, heat ghee or oil in a pan add cumin, asafoetida, ginger-garlic paste and onions.
Saute it till onions get golden brown in colour.
Now add tomatoes and all the dry spice powders and again cook it till oil starts coming out from the masala.
Time to add cooked Kidney beans
Add salt if required and cook it for 10 minutes until everything combines well.
Add a little cream if required, just to enhance the taste.
Serve it with hot steamy rice with loads of ghee over it and just dig in !
This is perfect for lunch have a glass of buttermilk or lemonade along with it.
