Ingredients

  • Baby corn - 6-7 (cut into 1” pieces)

  • Basmati rice - 1 cup

  • Green chillies- 1-3

  • Methi Leaves - 3 tbsps

  • Mint leaves - 6-7

  • Coriander Leaves - 3 tbsps

  • Cardamoms - 2-3

  • Cloves - 2-3

  • Bay leaves - 2

  • Garlic paste - 1 tsp

  • Ginger paste - 1 tsp

  • Turmeric powder - 1/8 tsp

  • Cumin powder -1/4 tsp

  • Salt - 1/2 tsp

Directions

    Heat oil in a pan and add the whole spices mentioned in the list.

    Add the ginger garlic paste and sauté.

  • 03

    Next tip in the baby corn and greens. Sauté a little.

    Put the soaked rice, salt and the mentioned spice powders .

  • 05

    Mix carefully and add 2 cups water.

  • 06

    Bring to a boil and reduce the heat.

  • 07

    Simmer until the rice is cooked. Place it on hot tawa for dum towards the end.
