Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • Quinoa - 1 cup


  • Onion - 1 (small)


  • Tomato - 1


  • Carrot - 1/2 ( diced finely)


  • Beans - 5


  • Green peas - 1/4 cup


  • Green chillies - 1 - 2


  • Ginger paste - 1/2 tsp


  • Garlic paste - 1 tsp


  • Cinnamon - 1 piece


  • Cloves - 2 - 3


  • Cardamoms - 2


  • Bay leaves - 1


  • Cumin powder - 1 tsp


  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp


  • Salt - 1/2 - 3/4 tsp


  • Mint leaves - 5-6


  • Coriander leaves - 2 tbsps

Directions

  • Wash the quinoa and soak it .
  • Boil it with little salt and drain the water . It takes about 15 - 20 mins.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add the mentioned whole spices.
  • Next add the sliced onion and sauté. Add the ginger garlic paste.
  • Add the chopped tomato and green chillies.
  • Dtir fry a little and add the salt and spice powders.
  • Sprinkle a little water and simmer to cook the vegetables.
  • Add the chopped mint and coriander leaves.
