Wash and soak 5 different dal ie rajma,chana dal,black urad dal,whole mung dal and masoor dal together in same same quantity for at least 5-6 hours
heat oil in a pressure cooker and add onion..sauté till pink colour
add chopped ginger ,garlic and green chilli and sauté for a minute
add chopped tomato and mix well
add salt and all the masala powder and mix well
add the dals and mix well...
add water and pressure cook for 5-6 whistles
now the dal is cooked well..mash a lil to get the desired texture
add fresh cream or Malai 1/2 cup and cook the dal again
add a blob of butter
add chopped coriander leaves and mix everything well...
serve with naan or roti
