Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 100 grams wheat flour


  • 20 grams cocoa powder


  • 100 grams sugar


  • 100 ml refined oil


  • 1 egg


  • 2 teaspoon milk


  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder


  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda


  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder


  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence


  • 1 cup grated carrot


  • 1/4 Cup chocolate chips


  • 1/2 cup dry fruits either walnuts or almonds

Directions

  • In a bowl sift together flour and cocoa powder nicely
  • add baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon powder and mix nicely and keep aside
  • in a separate bowl add oil and sugar and Beat/whisk together nicely
  • now add egg, milk and vanilla essence and again beat/whisk till everything is mixed together
  • No add in the dry ingredients kept aside little by little into the oil and sugar mixture and mix gently with the help of a spatula
  • add carrot, dry fruits and chocolate chips and mix nicely. ( keep some chocolate chips and dry fruits for putting on top later on)
  • preheat the oven for 10 minutes
  • grease the Muffin moulds with oil and put the batter into the moulds. (fill the moulds only 3/4 )
  • put some chocolate chips and dry fruits on top
  • Bake for 20 minutes at 170 degree Celsius. check by inserting a toothpick, if it comes out clean then your muffins are ready.
  • let the muffins come to room temperature
  • tasty and healthy chocolate chip and carrot muffins are ready. you can also serve them with icecream.
