Ingredients

Serves 6

  • For outer layer : 1 cup flour

  • Semolina 1 tablespoon

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • Oil 2 tablespoon

  • Water as needed

  • Ingredients for stuffing :

  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon chopped mixed dry fruits

  • Oil for frying

Directions

    Take the flour , oil and salt in a large bowl, and mix together with fingers. Gradually add the water to make a soft but not sticky dough. Keep aside for 15 minutes.

    In the mean time mix stuffing ingredients and keep aside.

    Now divide the dough into small, equal-sized balls. Roll them out into small discs.

    Stuff each disc with a sizeable portion of the stuffing. Apply some water around the edges of each disc, and seal it completely.

    Heat the oil and deep fry momos on low flame for 5-8 minutes or till it becomes crisp and golden. Add 2-3 pieces at a time.

    Ready all momos with the same process.

  • 07

    Serve the chocolate momos warm.

  • 08

    Alternatively, you can also steam the momos , and serve them.
