Heat oil in a cooker add ginger garlic paste n stir cook till it is pinkish and leaves the aroma .
Now add onion n bay leavez and saute nicely till it is pinkish and transparent .
Now add all the dry masalas mix well and add tomatoes and cook on low flame.
When tomatoes are well cooked add dal and cook for few mins.
Now add water accordingly and give 3 _4 whistle.
Adjust the consistency of dal by adding water and let it boil on medium flame for 7_8 mins.
Garnish with coriander.
