Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 2 cups dal wash n soak for30_35 mins


  • 2 nos finely chopped


  • 3 nos tomatoes finely chopped


  • 1 piece ginger


  • 8-10 nos cloves of garlic n green chillies grind altogether in a mixer


  • 1 tsp redchilli powder


  • 1 tsp haldi


  • 1 tsp chat masala


  • 1 tsp dal makhani


  • 1 tsp garam masala


  • 2 nos bay leaves


  • 1 pinch salt as per taste

Directions

  • Heat oil in a cooker add ginger garlic paste n stir cook till it is pinkish and leaves the aroma .
  • Now add onion n bay leavez and saute nicely till it is pinkish and transparent .
  • Now add all the dry masalas mix well and add tomatoes and cook on low flame.
  • When tomatoes are well cooked add dal and cook for few mins.
  • Now add water accordingly and give 3 _4 whistle.
  • Adjust the consistency of dal by adding water and let it boil on medium flame for 7_8 mins.
  • Garnish with coriander.
