Aloo paratha is the most popular recipe fro Punjab or North India.Spiced potato mixture is used as a stuffing to make this Indian flat bread.

Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour


  • 2 tsp salt


  • 1 tbsp oil


  • 1/2 cups water


  • 4-5 nos ings_for_stuffing: boiled potatoes


  • 2 nos green chillies finely chopped


  • 1/4 cups coriander leaves chopped.


  • 2 tsp red chilli piwder


  • 2 tbsp amchur powder


  • 2 tsp garam masala


  • 2 tsp chat masala


  • 1 tbsp salt

Directions

  • for the dough: Mix all the things and make a slighlty hard dough cover and let it rest.
  • For the stuffing:Peel the boiled potatoes
  • Now Take a mixing bowl put the potatoes and mash them well.
  • Now add all the spices and coriander leaves .
  • Now mix well and make a dough .
  • process to make paratha:Firstly make 5_6 equal size balls from tbe wheatflour dough.
  • Take 1 ball and roll it little bigger then tbe puri .
  • Now put the potato filling in the centre and fold it again nicely.
  • See that the potato mixture is not seen.
  • Now roll it to a thuck paratha.
  • Heat a tawa spread some oil.on tawa and roast the paratha on medium flame both the sides till its done.
  • Serve hot with curd and papad
