Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 2 cup rice

  • 1 onion sliced

  • 1 tomato chopped

  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste

  • 1 tsp red chilly powder

  • 1 potato cut into wedges

  • 1 tsp mustard seeds

  • 1 tsp cumin seeds

  • 1/2 tsp haldi

  • 4 curry leaves

  • 1 handful sweet corn (optional)

Directions

    Heat oil in cooker and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds.

  • 02

    Add ginger garlic paste, curry leaves and onions.

  • 03

    When onion turn golden add tomatoes , salt, haldi, red chilly powder.

    Add potato and stir it.

  • 05

    Wash rice and transfer into the cooker. Add 2 cup water and pressure cook for 3 whistles.

    Serve hot with papad.
