Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 200 grams broken wheat (Dalia)


  • 2 tablespoons green peas


  • 2 tablespoons chopped cauliflower


  • 2 tablespoons chopped carrot


  • 1 onion


  • 1 tomato


  • 1 sprig curry leaves


  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds


  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds


  • 1 teaspoon salt


  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper powder


  • 2 tanlespoons pure ghee

Directions

  • Dry roast broken wheat for 3 to 4 minutes
  • Remove in a pot
  • Now keep a pan on medium flame
  • Add ghee in it
  • Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds
  • Add curry leaves
  • Add chopped onion
  • Fry well
  • Add chopped tomato ...fry well
  • Add 2 glasses of water
  • Add roasted broken wheat
  • Add all the vegetables
  • Add salt and pepper powder
  • Cover with a lid
  • Keep on very slow flame
  • Keep stirring in between
  • When all things are soft turn off the flame
  • Keep in your kids tiffin
