Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Recipe for Puri : wheatflour 2 cups

  • oil 2 tbsp

  • Salt as per taste 1 pinch

  • Water to knead the dough 1/2 cups

  • Recipe for Dal :yellow moong dal Wash n soak for 30mins. 250 gms

  • green chillies 2-3 nos

  • haldi 1/2 tsp

  • red chilli powder 1 tsp

  • chat masala 2 tsp

  • amchur powder 1 tsp

  • dhania powder 1 tbsp

  • cumin seeds 1 tsp

  • oil 2 tbsp

  • Coriander for garnishing 1 sprig

  • Salt as per taste 1 pinch

    Method for puri:Mix all the above ings..n knead the dough .keep covered.

    Make the dough little hard.

  • 03

    Make small lemon size balls roll n fry.

    Method for dal:Take a heavy bottom pan n boil dal by adding 2 glasses of water haldi salt n green chillies.

    Keep adding sum watet in between till ur dal id boiled completely.The consistency of dal shud be semi liquid.

    Once ur dal is boiled whish it with the wooden dal ghotni.

    Off the flame.

    Put the dal in a serving bowl.

    Now in one bowl mix red chilli amchur n dhania powder n sprinkle this all over the dal.

    Now heat oil in a small kadhi add cumin seeds wen it starts splittering add this over the dal .

    Serve with chopped onion.

  • 12

    Garnish with coriander n serve with hot puris.
