Potato pinwheels are great party treat. This is an interesting twist on the popular Indian snack . They make a mouthwatering appetizer or can be served as a chaat.

Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 2 cups maida


  • 2 tbsp suji


  • 2 tbsp wheat flour


  • 1 tsp jeera salt as per taste


  • 2 tbsp oil


  • 3-4 nos ings for the filling : boiled n mashed potatoes


  • 1 sprig coriander


  • 5-6 nos green chillies chopped


  • 1/2 cups nylon sev (zero no)


  • 1 tsp red chilli powder


  • 2 tsp jaljeera


  • 1 tsp panipuri


  • 1 tsp amchur powder


  • 1 tsp chaat masala


  • 1 pinch salt as per taste

Directions

  • Mix all the above ing n make a dough not very soft n not very hard keep aside
  • mix all the ings n make a dough for filling.
  • Divide the maida dough into two parts.
  • roll 1 part into a chapati abt 1/4 inch thickness
  • Divide the potato dough in two parts .
  • Take 1 part n spread on the rolled chapati evenly with the hand.
  • Now roll the chapati to make a log and press the edges with the finger tips.
  • With a sharp knife cut this roll 2 inches thickness slices in slanting way.
  • same way complete the other part also
  • Now heat oil n deep fry on medium flame n serve immediately with chutney or tomato sauce.
