Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 cup left over rice or you can take fresh cooked rice


  • 1 tablespoon oil


  • 2-3 green chilis


  • 1 tablespoon Chana dal


  • 2 tablespoon peanuts


  • 1/4 teaspoon asafoetida


  • 1/2 Tsp turmeric


  • 1 lemon


  • 1 teaspoon salt


  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds


  • 7-8 curry leaves

Directions

  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Add chana dal and roast till it becomes golden in colour.
  • Now add mustard seeds, curry leaves, peanuts, green chilli and asafoetida
  • Add turmeric, salt and cooked rice.
  • Give it a nice mix
  • Add lemon juice and mix it.
  • Cook it for 5 minutes and serve it hot with pickle.
