Ingredients

Serves : 10
  • 1 cup small sabudana


  • 2 boiled potatoes


  • 1/2 cup crushed peanuts


  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder


  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste


  • 1 teaspoon cumin


  • 1/4 cup chopped coriander


  • 1 teaspoon salt


  • 1/ 4 oil or ghee for grilling

Directions

  • Wash and soak small sabudana for 30 minutes. Small sabudana requires less time for soaking.
  • Now add all the ingredients to the soaked sabudana.
  • Mash boiled potatoes and then add it.
  • Mix everything well make a dough.
  • Now prepare 10-12 small equal balls out of it.
  • Heat appe mould grease it with oil or ghee and place these sabudana balls in it.
  • Do not over it. Allow it to grill on a low flame till it becomes golden in colour.
  • Do it from both the sides drizzle oil or ghee as required
  • Serve it with curd chutney or with coriander chutney.
  • Perfect for fasting, you can have it in lunch if you are bored of having that regular meal in lunch.
