Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 4 cup cooked rice


  • 1 small ball of tamarind


  • 2 tbsp jaggery


  • 1/2 cup peanuts


  • 3 tbsp puliyogare powder


  • 1 tbsp oil


  • 1 tbsp mustard seeds


  • 1/4 tsp hing


  • 1 tbsp chana daal


  • 10 curry leaves


  • 2 dry red chilli


  • Salt as per taste1 tbsp seasme seeds

Directions

  • Soak tamarind ball in water for 10 min.
  • Sieve it
  • Add jaggery in water and boil it till dissolve
  • Sieve it and keep aside
  • Heat kadhai and add tamarind paste
  • Add jaggery in it and cook till thick
  • Add salt,hing and puliyogare powder and mix
  • In other pan for tadka heat oil
  • Add mustard seeds and red chilli
  • Add peanuts and chana daal
  • Roast them and add curry leaves
  • And seasme seeds on low heat
  • Turn off gas
  • Add tadka in tamarind paste
  • And add boiled rice,mix properly
  • Can give your kid in lunch box also with curd or as it is
