Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 250 gram paneer ( sliced about 1 inch thick)


  • 1 cup gram flour


  • 2 tsp high heat cooking oil


  • 1/2 tsp garam masala


  • 1/2 tsp salt


  • 1/2 tsp red chilly powder / cayenne pepper


  • 1/2 cup water


  • 1 cup oil for frying

Directions

  • Slice paneer about 1 inch thick.
  • Whisk together gram flour, salt, red chilly powder & garam masala.
  • Slowly incorporate water , adding just enough to form a thick batter.Dip each slice in batter ,turning to coat well.
  • Fry in hot oil until light golden brown.
  • These cottage cheese pakora's are best when they are fresh and served hot.
