Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 3/4 cups Besan flour


  • 100g melted dark chocolate


  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder


  • 1/8 teaspoon baking soda


  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


  • 5 tbsp cocoa powder


  • 1/2 cup milk


  • 2 eggs


  • 100g sugar


  • 1/8 teaspoon salt


  • 50 ml oil


  • for Glaze ::- 2 tbsp soft butter


  • 1 cup powdered sugar


  • 2 tbsp boiling water


  • 60g dark chocolate melted

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 180 and line cake tin
  • Sieve Besan, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cocoa powder in a bowl. Keep it aside
  • In a bowl whisk eggs, add sugar , oil and vanilla extract. Mix well
  • Add milk and whisk well
  • Add dark chocolate and whisk well
  • Gradually add dry ingredients and whisk until well combined
  • Pour batter into prepared cake tin
  • Bake for 30-45 minutes until done. Allow to cool for 30 minutes
  • Demould and cool completely on wire rack
  • For chocolate glaze: mix butter, sugar, melted chocolate and boiling water until well combined
  • Pour glaze over chocolate. Sprinkle nuts if required. Slice and serve
