Heat oil in a pan and deep fry potato. When it is half cooked remove and keep it aside.
In same oil add bay leaf, cinnamon stick, mustard seeds , cumin seeds and let it crackle.
Slice onion and add it into the pan along with ginger garlic paste. Let the oil separate and onion shrink in size.
Cut the cauliflower florets in medium size , wash it and transfer into the pan.
Add green chilly paste , turmeric powder, red chilly powder,grated coconut, coriander powder , cumin powder and salt to taste. Mix it properly.
Now add peas and cover it for 5 minutes.
Wash rice and add it in the pan. Add potatoes and 2 cup water. when it starts boiling reduce the flame , cover it and let it cook.
When rice is cooked add garam masala powder and transfer on a serving bowl.
Garnish with grated coconut and coriander leaves. Serves hot.
