Heat oil in a pan and add some mustard seeds and let it splatter.
Add curry leaves , green chilly and saute for a minute.
Add onion ,tomatoes and let it turn mushy on low flame.
Meanwhile wash eggplants and make a slit in it. Add few drops of oil in it and roast it. Remove the cover and mash the eggplant properly. Add some salt on it and keep aside.
Add turmeric powder and transfer the mashed eggplant mixture into the pan. Mix it well and cover for a minute.
Finally add crushed peanuts and garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve hot with bhakari or chapati.
