Ingredients

  • Gram flour / basan 350 gm


  • Curd 1 1/2 cup


  • Salt 2 tbspn


  • Onian 1 diced


  • Turmeric powder 1 tspn


  • Red chilli powder 1 tspn


  • Garam masala 1/2 tspn


  • Coriander powder 1 tspn


  • Oil for frying. 150 ml


  • Curry leaves 5 to 7


  • Red dried whole chillis 4


  • Mustard seeds 1/2 tspn


  • Asafoetida 1/2 tspn

Directions

  • Take 200 gm basan in a bawl. Add diced onian . Salt add little water and make a pakora batter .
  • Add oil in wok . Drop this batter in oil and fry fritters .
  • In another bawl add remaining basan . Curd . 3 cup water . Churn well .
  • In a wok add oil ( 6 tbspn ) add fenugreek seeds . Dry spices. Add churned basan curd mixture. Whisk well . Add salt . Let it boil for 25 minuets on low heat
  • On becoming smooth gravy switch off the gas . Put fritters we prepared earlier. Cover it for 5 minuets
  • Now in a pan add 3 tspn oil addcurry leaves . Mustered seeds . Red chillies. Asafoetida. Add this into prepared Cadhi..
