Chicken Popcorn Recipe : Chicken - 200 gms Boneless cut into small cubes
All Purpose Flour - 1 cup
Pepper -1/4 tsp
Salt - 1tbsp or as per your taste
Chilly powder - 2 tbsp
Egg - 1
Milk - 1/2 - 1 cup
Cornflakes - 1 Cup or as required
Ingredients for Chicken 65 Recipe : Chicken - 300gms cut into medium pieces
Fresh Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
kashmiri Chilly powder - 2 tbsp
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1 tbsp
Corn flour - 1 tbsp
Salt - 1 tbsp
Oil for frying popcorn and chicken 65- 2 Cups
Ingredients for butter sauteed veggies: 1 cup veggies ( carrot, sweet corn, zucchini, French beans)
Mixed sprouts - 1 cup
Butter - 2 tbsp
Garlic - 2 finely chopped
Pepper crushed - 1/4 tsp
Salt - 1 tbsp or as per your taste
Water -1/4 cup or as required
Method for chicken popcorn : Break the egg and add some milk and whisk nicely. Add little salt to taste. Add the chicken to it. The liquid mixture must fully cover the chicken so add milk accordingly. You can marinate and keep for sometime.
In a separate bowl add the flour, salt, pepper and the chilly powder and mix well. Set aside.
In a bowl crush the Cornflakes and set aside.
Take out the chicken from the marinate mixture. Retain the mixture. Now coat the chicken nicely in the flour mixture.
Now heat oil in a pan. Take chicken one by one from the flour mixture, dip it in the egg milk mixture, coat it in the crushed cornflakes and deep fry till golden and crispy.
Take out in paper towel and keep aside.
Method for chicken 65 : Take the chicken and all the ingredients mentioned above except oil in a mixing bowl. Mix it thoroughly coating the masalas nicely with the chicken. Marinate it for sometime. The more time you marinate the better.
Heat the oil in a pan, add the chicken pieces in small portions and fry for 5 minutes in low flame stirring in between and another 5 mins on high flame till it becomes dark red in color.
Take out in paper towel and keep aside..
Method fr sauteed veggies: Take the veggies and the Sprouts in a pan. Sprinkle some water and let it saute in medium heat for 3-5 mins.
Add butter, chopped or crushed garlic, salt to taste and saute for another few mins.
Sprinkle crushed pepper and oregano and take off the flame.
Plate it as per your choice and serve with dips and garnishing of your choice. I garnished with green lettuce leaves.
