Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 250 gms green peas

  • 2 green chillies

  • 1/2 cup semolina

  • 1/2 cup besan

  • 3/4 cup curd

  • 3/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder

  • 1 Pinch of asafoetida

  • 1/4 cup grated carrot

  • 2 tsp fresh soya leaves chopped

  • 2 tsp fresh coriander leaves chopped

  • 1/2 tsp soda

  • 1 tbsp Butter or Oil for cooking

  • For Serving,1/4 cup masala curd with slightly sweet and slightly salty

  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder to sprinkle over it at time of serving

Directions

    Take green peas and green chilli in mixer jar and coarsaly grind it,and keep aside for next step.

    Now in a deep bowl take semolina,besan,curd,salt, termeric and roasted cumin powder, assefotida,grated carrot,fresh coriander and fresh soya leaves and mix well.

    Now add coarsaly grind green peas and chilli paste and soda in it and mix well.

    Add little amount of water if need to prepare a pouring consistency.

    Now cover it and keep aside it for 20 minutes to set.

    Now grease the waffle maker with oil or butter and pour the better in it and close it to cook or crispy,when done take out this.

    if bake, now pour better in greased waffle mould and bake it in preheated oven at 160 to 170* 15 to 18 minutes or till crisp and done

    Now pour some sweet and salty masala curd,some khajur and green chutney,sprinkle some red chilli powder (optional) over it for more taste.

    Now Green Peas with Soya Waffle are ready to serve.serve hot for more taste.
