Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • All purpose refined flour 4 cups


  • Oil 5-6 cups


  • Carrom seeds 1 teaspoon


  • Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon


  • Salt 1-2 teaspoon


  • Chaat masala 1 teaspoon


  • Crushed black pepper corns 2 teaspoons

Directions

  • In a mixing bowl take all purpose refined flour, some salt , cumin seeds, carrom seeds and 3 -4 tablespoons of oil
  • Mix well amd knead a tight dough using little butter milk. keep it covered aside for rest for 10 minutes
  • By the time heat sufficient oil in a heavy bottom pan
  • Prepare small balls out of ready dough
  • Lightly flatten them in to small puris, with palm or use rolling pin . Then prick all with the help of knife or fork (it prevent puris from puffing)
  • Deep fry all matthis on very low heat till golden and crisp from all over
  • Ready
  • Once completely cold , store in air tight container and enjoy anytime
  • Its a perfect tea time partner , and anytime munching
