Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Cottage Cheese/Paneer 250 gms


  • Boiled onions 2-3


  • Cashews 8-10


  • Soaked and peeled Almonds 8-10


  • Fox Seeds / Makhane 1/4 Cup


  • Soaked Melon Seeds 1 tblspn


  • Soaked Poppy Seeds 1 tblspn


  • Ghee 1 tblspn


  • Green Cardamom 2


  • Cloves 4


  • Bay leaf 1


  • Black pepper powder 1 tsp


  • Salt to taste or 1 tsp


  • Sugar 1 tsp


  • Cream 1/2 Cup


  • Milk 1 cup or as needed for gravy


  • Green Chillies 2


  • Saffron Soaked in milk 8-10 Strings


  • Kewra water 1 tsp


  • Kasuri Methi 1 tsp

Directions

  • In a mixer jar grind boiled onion.
  • In a pan heat up ghee and add whole spices and let them Splutter.
  • Add onion paste and cook on meduum flame till raw smell goes off.
  • In the same mixer jar take soaked nuts and makhana and Grind into a Smooth Paste.
  • When onion cooks well and this nuts paste and cook on low flame for 2-3 Minutes or till raw smell of Cashews goes off.
  • Add salt and pepper and mix well.
  • Add milk and mix well.
  • Add sugar and paneer and mix well.
  • Keep covers and cook on low flame fof 3-5 minutes.
  • After that add kesar milk and kewra water mix well.
  • Sprinkle kasuri Methi and switch off the flame.
  • Serve hot With roti or naan.
