Ingredients

  • 1 cup masoor daal


  • 1 medium sized onion chopped


  • 1 tablespoon gram flour


  • 1- inch ginger grated


  • 1 green chili chopped


  • 1 teaspoon carom seeds


  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder


  • 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala


  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt


  • 2 tablespoon coriander leaves chopped

Directions

  • Soak masoor daal in water for more than 2 to 3 hours. Drain the water and grind it to make a smooth paste.
  • Transfer all the paste to a mixing bowl. Add all the ingredients expect chaat masala and mix it well.
  • Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. With damp hands, take small portions of the mixture, shape into pakoras and slide them into the hot oil.
  • Deep fry the pakoras till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Sprinkle some chaat masala.
  • Transfer onto a serving plate and serve hot.
