1 cup masoor daal
1 medium sized onion chopped
1 tablespoon gram flour
1- inch ginger grated
1 green chili chopped
1 teaspoon carom seeds
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
1/2 teaspoon Salt
2 tablespoon coriander leaves chopped
Soak masoor daal in water for more than 2 to 3 hours. Drain the water and grind it to make a smooth paste.
Transfer all the paste to a mixing bowl. Add all the ingredients expect chaat masala and mix it well.
Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. With damp hands, take small portions of the mixture, shape into pakoras and slide them into the hot oil.
Deep fry the pakoras till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Sprinkle some chaat masala.
Transfer onto a serving plate and serve hot.
