Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • Paneer 300 gms

  • Corn flour 30 gms

  • Oil for frying 300 ml

  • Ginger 1 tbsp

  • Garlic 1 tbsp

  • Green chilli 1 tsp

  • Oil 3 tbsp

  • Onion 1 large

  • Red chilli paste 1 tsp

  • Chilli sauce 1 tsp

  • Pepper powder 1/2 tsp

  • Tomato sauce 2 tbsp

  • Water 1/4 cup

  • Coriander leaves finely chopped 1 tbsp

  • Salt to taste 1 tsp

Directions

  • Chop paneer like french fries. Add salt, mix well and set aside for 10 minutes.
  • Now salt will release its moisture so it will be easy for cornflour to get coat well.
  • So add cornflour and toss it gently.
  • Deep fry paneer till crisp and golden.
  • Next step is preparing the sauce. Heat a pan and add oil for seasoning. When it is hot add finely chopped ginger, garlic & green chilli one by one.
  • Further add chopped onion and saute till golden.
  • Now add water. I have added water to the blender first in which I prepared dry red chilli paste and the same has been added to the gravy.
  • When water starts boiling add dry red chilli paste, chilli sauce, pepper powder and tomato sauce.
  • Mix everything well and let it cook for next 30 seconds till its raw smell disappear.
  • Now add fried paneer and start combining well.
  • Let it coat nicely and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot dragon paneer as a starter to your loved ones.
